§ 98.1 Ashes and rubbish. No person shall place or deposit any ashes or rubbish in or upon any street, public alley or public ground in the village, except for the purpose of having the same removed by the proper authorities; and in that case, no such ashes or rubbish shall be placed or deposited more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the time fixed by the village authorities for such removal.
§ 98.2 Prohibited acts. No person shall sweep, cast or throw any paper, hay, straw, shavings, wood, stone, rubbish, dirt, ashes, garbage or any other substance on any street, sidewalk, crosswalk, public alley or public ground in the village or permit any person in his employ so to do or allow any such matter to fall from any wagon or ther vehicle transporting the same through the streets or public alleys or cause any obstruction, nuisance or injury in or upon andy street, sidewalk, public alley, gutter, sewer, drain or public ground in the village.
§ 98.3 Transporting wastes. No person shall draw or push anything contining swill, rubbish, offal or other foul matter on any sidewalk.
§ 98.4 Handbills.1 No person shall post or hang any handbill notice, placard or other advertising matter (except legal notices) upon any post, pole, tree, hydrant, fence, bridge, or other object or structure in any street, public alley or public ground in the village.2
§ 98.5 Penalties for offenses.3 A violation of this chapter shall be punishable, upon conviction, by afine or imprisonment, or both, as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II.
